Yılmaz Değirmenci graduated from the Military Academy in 1997 with a degree in System Engineering. Between 2000-2002, she completed her master’s degree on computer science in Naval Postgraduate School – California / USA. After working as a system manager, database manager, software developer, and project manager for many years at TSK, he worked as a “Cyber Incident Response Team Leader” for three years and retired from there.
In this role, he also took an active role in the management of the Cyber Operation Center. He also took an active role in NATO Locked Shield and Cyber Coalition Exercises and also co-ordinated some of them.
After retiring, he worked as a cyber security director in a company. Currently, it continues its activities on penetration testing, training and innovative projects in the field of cyber security.
He has experience in almost all aspects of cyber security, both administrative and process, and technical. Yılmaz Değirmenci, who also has a deep knowledge in data mining, machine learning and artificial intelligence, works on projects that use these topics in the field of cyber security.
It has Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCP) certificate.
